Generally speaking the Police, when responding to a noise complaint, will first issue a warning to the residents of the premise they have attended. Warnings serve two purposes, primarily it makes the resident aware of the bylaw requirements and it usually results in the noise level being reduced. The information provided on this page is to serve as a guideline only. Specific questions should be forwarded to the Stratford Police Service.
